This was the first devised piece of theatre that we created as a company, A Bang in the Void, whilst at university. We were exploring ideas of traces, and the notion of re-lived memory and experience just on the cusp of sleep and in dreaming. The idea that we replay the traces of our lived experience - our adventures, meetings, depatures - in our dreams and in those moments between waking and dreaming was explored through seamless projection that came to live around a bed. We projected our dream selves onto our waking selves, and meandered, backwards in time, through our memories and emotions to re-live the traces of what remains...
